CarePatrol Franchise Model Overview

CarePatrol franchisees help families find independent living, assisted living, memory care and nursing home options for aging relatives, touring communities with them and guiding the move; revenue comes from placement fees paid by the senior living facilities, including national partner facilities invoiced through the franchisor. It is a home-based business with a vehicle, phone and laptop; a small commercial office is optional. The investment is low six figures and mostly franchise, training and working capital, but the ongoing royalty is high by service-franchise standards, with monthly minimums and required marketing spend. A Managing Owner or approved Managing Employee must work the business full time, and the owner must become a Certified Senior Advisor before opening. Success depends on building referral relationships with hospitals, discharge planners, physicians and care communities in a protected territory defined by bed count. The system is entirely franchised and has grown each of the last three years. Reduced-fee franchises keep their higher royalty on transfer.

Ideal owner profile

Relationship-driven seller comfortable networking with hospitals, physicians and senior living communities
Empathetic communicator who can guide families through stressful elder-care decisions
Full-time owner-operator or approved full-time managing employee working at least 35 hours weekly
Low six-figure capital plus runway while referral sources and placement fees ramp up
Background in healthcare, senior living, social work or B2B sales is helpful
