Launch Family Entertainment Franchise Model Overview

Launch Parks are indoor sports and family entertainment venues of roughly 25,000 to 45,000 square feet, combining trampoline courts, ropes and ninja courses, climbing walls, laser tag, virtual reality, bowling and arcade games with an in-house restaurant and, where permitted, a bar. Revenue comes from admissions, parties, events and food and beverage. This is a heavy, leased big-box build: leasehold improvements and attractions alone run into the millions, and the total investment is firmly seven figures. Owners need not work in the park day to day, but a trained, approved general manager must supervise on site and the park carries a sizable hourly staff. The concept began as trampoline parks in 2013 and has since evolved; older parks may be pressed to add current attractions. Franchised units have grown steadily over three years while affiliate-owned parks were sold off to franchisees, with a large pipeline of signed but unopened parks.

Ideal owner profile

Well-capitalized investor or group able to finance a seven-figure leased big-box build
Ability to recruit and retain a strong general manager and large hourly, often young, staff
Experience in hospitality, food and beverage, or multi-attraction venue operations
Comfortable with safety, liability and alcohol-service compliance in a high-traffic family venue
Willing to reinvest in new attractions as the concept evolves
