The Brass Tap Franchise Model Overview

The Brass Tap is a craft beer bar offering a large rotating selection of draft and bottled imported, domestic and local beers, fine wines, cigars where permitted, and a food menu, with some locations adding a carry-out package store. Bars run about 3,200 to 3,800 square feet in shopping centers or urban spaces, often with a patio. The investment ranges from mid-six to seven figures depending on how much leasehold work, tap and cooler equipment, audio-video and liquor licensing a site requires; newer "2.0" bars carry a full liquor license and full kitchen, and Item 19 reports their sales separately. An Operating Partner or full-time Operating Manager must run the bar and complete a three-week training program. The franchisor is owned by CapitalSpring through FSC Franchise Co, which also franchises Beef 'O' Brady's and is affiliated with Newk's. The system is small, grew in 2024 and then contracted in 2025, with most units franchised.
