KidStrong Franchise Model Overview

KidStrong Centers run recurring-membership classes that combine physical training, using climbing rigs, balance beams and similar equipment, with confidence and leadership development. A standard Center occupies about 3,200 to 4,000 square feet in leased space, and a smaller hybrid format runs 2,400 to 3,000 square feet. The investment is mid-six figures, driven by leasehold improvements, a proprietary equipment package bought from the franchisor's affiliate and pre-opening marketing. Ongoing costs are heavy: royalty steps up to 8.5 percent after the first 18 months, plus a brand fund, technology fee, marketing services fee and required digital ad spend. Owners are not required to work in the business; neither the owner nor the operating partner may serve as the General Manager, Assistant General Manager or Lead Coach, who must complete the franchisor's certification. The system is growing fast, adding 30 to 37 units a year, with 16 transfers in each of 2024 and 2025. Item 19 reports quartile sales for mature two-floor Centers.
