Rocket Fizz Franchise Model Overview
Rocket Fizz shops sell old-fashioned and new-to-market bottled sodas, energy drinks, hard-to-find and nostalgic candy brands, confections and novelty gifts. A typical store is about 1,800 square feet, mostly retail floor, placed where foot traffic is heavy: downtown districts, malls and lifestyle centers. There is no kitchen or food prep; the work is merchandising, inventory turns and staffing a register. The investment is low-to-mid six figures on a leased vanilla shell, with a large share going to the franchisor's affiliate for a required fixtures package and proprietary opening inventory, and franchisees continue buying proprietary product through that distributor. Royalty is a percentage of revenue with a monthly floor, and there is currently no brand fund contribution. A Principal Owner holding at least half the equity must devote full time to the shop, with trained managers covering shifts. The system is entirely franchised and grew to just over 100 shops, though growth slowed to a net two units in 2025.
